19. Are you members of USOBA and TASC?
Emphatically no. USOBA (United States Organizations for Bankruptcy Alternatives) and TASC (The Association of Settlement Companies) are paid membership groups. For an annual fee any company can list themselves as a member, regardless of their business practices. While USOBA and TASC are a step in the right direction, they are unable to monitor each and every member for proper business practices. Until they are able to prove they can do this, we believe in spending our money on the fight for consumer rights and improved credit card legislation.
